This weekend, we may get some rain during the day Friday, but otherwise the forecast is for sunny skies and pleasant temperatures — so there's nothing stopping you from getting out and enjoying these great events.
Around Cranston, the Artists Exchange's Theatre 82 hosts The Ghost of Vigoda on Saturday night at 9 p.m. [Wonder if they play the Barney Miller theme.]
Expect rocking jams and tunes from Phish, the Grateful Dead, and Pink Floyd, among others.
Online tickets are $7 in advance, or $10 at the door.
Starting Thursday night, the Rustic Tri-Vue Drive-In in Smithfield is showing:
- Smurfs 2 [PG] and Grown-Ups 2 [PG-13]
- We're the Millers [R] leading into The Conjuring [R],
- and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters [PG] followed by the Wolverine [PG-13].
Chan's in Woonsocket has shows all weekend, with Johnny Rawls on Aug. 9, Frank Potenza and Rick Estrin Aug. 10.
Online tickets are $12 for Johnny Rawls, $15 for Frank Potenza, and $18 for Rick Estrin. Shows at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m. Sunday. Additional $4 fee added for online orders.
