CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Jan. 1 and Jan. 4.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in, as well as the time of the arrest, were only omitted when not provided by police.

Jan. 1

6:21 p.m. — Felix Cuevas, 22, of Providence, was charged with simple assault or battery. Police said the arrest stemmed from the suspect turning himself in.

7:47 p.m. — Vianca Vasquez, 21, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

Jan. 2

4:25 p.m. — Megan English, 42, of Central Falls, was charged with DUI of liquor-greater BAC than 0.15 (first offense). Police said English's blood-alcohol readings were 0.346 and 0.337. According to police, the arrest stemmed from a crash on Park Avenue.

Jan. 3

2 a.m. — Christian Celani, 18, of Cranston, was charged with disorderly conduct. Police said the arrest stemmed from a suspicious vehicle call at the Chaffee Sports Complex on Hope Road.

8:04 a.m. — Emiliano Virula Barrientos, 47, of Providence, was charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police said the arrest happened after they saw Barrientos driving erratically on Garfield Avenue.

8:04 a.m. — Rebecca Pierce, 32, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

6:10 p.m. — Christopher Castro, 43, of Cranston, was charged with violating a no-contact order (third offense or greater) and possession of crack cocaine. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for a disturbance at a home on Warwick Avenue.

9:15 p.m. — Tina Draper, 40, of Cranston, was charged with receiving stolen goods-felony, obtaining money under false pretenses/personation over $1,500, and false report of a crime.

Jan. 4

11:38 a.m. — Kyle Sheehan, 58, of Woonsocket, was arrested on a bench warrant out of District Court. Police said the arrest happened after a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cranston Street and Chestnut Hill Avenue.

12:42 p.m. — William Stuart, 30, of Cranston, was arrested on a bench warrant out of East Providence police and another warrant out of Six District Court.
