CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Dec. 17 and Dec. 23.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in, as well as the time of the arrest, were only omitted when not provided by police.

1:49 p.m. — Joshua Ortiz. 34, of Providence, was charged with four counts of larceny over $1,500 and two counts of vandalism. Police said the arrest stemmed from McKenna being turned over to Third District Court.

2:19 p.m. — Savion McKenna, 18, of Waterbury, Connecticut, was charged with breaking and entering a building with felonious intent and conspiracy. Police said the arrest stemmed from McKenna being turned over to Third District Court.

Dec. 18

4:50 a.m. — Jose Acevado, 47, of Providence, was charged with larceny under $1,500. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service at Marchetti's at 1463 Park Ave.

10:05 p.m. — Juston Williams, 25, of East Providence, as charged with DUI and breathalyzer refusal. Police said the arrest stemmed from a crash at the intersection of Park Avenue and Rugby Street.

Dec. 19

12:41 a.m. — Jashua Rosario Ubiles, 33, of Cranston, was charged with DUI and breathalyzer refusal. Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop on Cranston Street at Arlington Avenue.

10:03 a.m. — Franco Vargas, 30, of Cranston, was charged with two counts of delivery/possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and crack cocaine and resisting legal or illegal arrest. Police said the arrest happened after a motor vehicle stop on New London Avenue.

Dec. 20

1:16 p.m. — Gabriel Penta, 30, of Johnston, was charged with duty to stop in an accident with bodily injury. Police said the arrest stemmed from McKenna being turned over to Third District Court.

Dec. 21

2:47 a.m. — Odilio Ramos Vasquez, 25, of Providence, was charged with DUI-blood alcohol level greater than 0.15 (first offense). Cranston police said Vasquez's blood alcohol readings were 0.162 and 0.159. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for a well-being check at the McDonald's at 923 Cranston St.

Dec. 22

2:34 a.m. — John McEvoy, 31, of Cranston, was charged with operating without a license (fourth or subsequent offense). Police said the arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop on Beckwith Street.

Dec. 23

7:36 a.m. — Luis Santana, 61, of Cranston, was charged with domestic breaking and entering without consent. Police said Santana turned himself in.
