Firearms Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Cranston Man: Cops
The Cranston man was arrested by the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, police said.
CRANSTON, RI — A firearms investigation led to the arrest of a Cranston man, police said.
John Carrion,21, was arrested about 3 p.m. Friday on charges of possession of a firearm by certain persons prohibited, license or permit required for carrying a pistol, and large capacity feeding device prohibited, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"The arrest was the result of a search warrant executed at the conclusion of a firearms investigation," the release said.

Carrion was arrested by the state police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, according to the release.
Carrion was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions intake facility, the release said.
