First-Degree Sexual Assault; 6 Domestic Assaults: Cranston Police Log

CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Sept. 20 and Sept. 24.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in, as well as the time of the arrest, were only omitted when not provided by police.

Sept. 20

10:33 p.m. — Teyonsea Caquias, 18, of Providence, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

10:33 p.m. — Yaltsin Anicet, 32, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

Sept. 21

12:21 a.m. — Carson Pierre Louis, 50, of Cranston, was charged with first-degree sexual assault.

Sept. 22

3:29 p.m. — Jason Crudden, 40, of Cranston, was charged with shoplifting. Police said the arrest stemmed from a theft call to the Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue.

4:55 p.m. — Olivia Taylor, 22, of Cranston, was charged with domestic violence-simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct.

Sept. 23

2:53 p.m. — Jorge Salmeron, 25, of Pawtucket, was charged with violating a no-contact order (third offense or greater).

7:12 p.m. — Joshidis Torres, 40, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

8:10 p.m. — David Manzi, 39, of Cranston, was charged with simple assault and larceny from a person. Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop on Oaklawn Avenue.

9:45 p.m. — Ralph Abenante, 43, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

Sept. 24

7:28 a.m. — Jonathan Acosta, 34, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.
