ICCR Wins Catholic Athletic League (CAL) Championships

Immaculate Conception Grade 4/5 Soccer Teams Brings Home the CAL Championship

CRANSTON, RI - Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School’s (ICCR) grades four and five soccer team capped off an undefeated season by bringing home the Catholic Athletic League Diocese of Providence (CAL) championship with an overtime win of 2-1 against St. Luke’s School in Barrington, RI on Friday, June 7, 2024. The league finals took place at LaSalle Academy in Providence, RI. The team, led by coaches Bryan Monteiro (Scituate), and Nicole and Tom Reilly (Scituate), have been practicing together since March and played a total of ten games.

The team includes Tino Alvarado (Grade 5, Cranston), Kenny Chiavarini (Grade 4, Cranston), Emily Chuey (Grade 4, Coventry), Sydney Collard (Grade 5, East Greenwich), Jack Cronin (Grade 4, Cranston), Grayson Eddins (Grade 4, Cranston), Madeline Hunter (Grade 4, Cranston ) Alexander Lombardi (Grade 4, Cranston ) Alessia Manfredo (Grade 4, Cranston),William McAlpine (Grade 4, Cranston), Daniel Mello (Grade 4, Johnston), Kameron Monahan (Grade 5, Cranston), Cooper Reilly (Grade 4, Scituate) Oliver Remillard (Grade 4, Cranston), Matthew Robinson (Grade 4, Cranston), Anthony Sonner (Grade 4, Cranston ), Alexis Zickendrath (Grade 4, Warwick )
