New Firefighters, Capital Budget, School Board Vacancy on Council Agenda

EAST GREENWICH, RI—The East Greenwich Town Council on Monday will welcome two new firefighters during a swearing-in ceremony at Town Hall, among other actions.

The meeting, is planned for 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

The Town Council will also be discussing the process for replacing outgoing School Committee member Deidre Gifford, who announced she will be leaving the committee at the end of February after taking a new job in Washington, D.C.
