Thomas L. Marcaccio, Jr., Esq., 87, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, March 1st, at Rhode Island Hospital.

Thomas L. Marcaccio, Jr., Esq., 87, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, March 1st, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Angela R. (DePrete) Marcaccio. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas L. Marcaccio, Sr. and Delia (Pontarelli) Marcaccio.

Mr. Marcaccio was an Attorney At Law with Marcaccio & Marcaccio Law Office, retiring in 1990 after practicing law for 40 years. He also served in The United States Army Counter Intelligence Core during the Korean War. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy, class of 1947, Xavier University and received his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law.

He was a longtime member of the Rhode Island Bar Assn., a Council member of the R.I. Public Buiding Authority, he was appointed by three governors to the RI Judicial Nominating Commission and served as a Clerk of the Council of The Bonnet Shores Fire Dept. A communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, he was a member of the St. Joseph Men’s Guild.

He was the loving father of Claudia Ann Marcaccio of San Francisco, CA, Nancy D. Rocha and her husband Randal of Saunderstown and Lynda A. Marcaccio of San Francisco, CA. Cherished grandfather of Meridith Rocha and Caroline Rocha. Caring brother of Edward J. Marcaccio, Esq. of North Providence and John R. Marcaccio, MD of North Kingstown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 9:30 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Garden Hills Drive, Cranston followed by burial in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday form 3-5 pm in URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95).
