CRANSTON, RI — Cranston Street between Garfield Avenue and Washington Street will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday for road construction, Cranston police said Monday

The closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Police said detours will be clearly marked and flaggers will direct motorists.

Police said to seek alternate routes if possible and expect delays.
