Police, AG Investigate Sudden Death In Cranston

CRANSTON, RI — Cranston police are investigating a sudden death in an Owl Court home. The Attorney General's Office and the State Medical Examiners Officer are both involved, the department said.

Few details were released about the death Friday afternoon, only that the victim was female and that foul play was not suspected 'based on preliminary findings."

No further information was released. The victim's family asked that their privacy be respected, police said.
