Police Seek ID of K-Mart Shoplifter, Scammer

CRANSTON, RI—Cranston police are asking residents for help identifying a man accused of shoplifting and scamming a K-Mart cashier as part of a money exchange recently.

Police said the man committed the crimes at the Garfield Avenue K-Mart on Aug. 5. Security camera photos taken at the store were released by police on Friday.
