Seth Magaziner Projected Winner In Rhode Island Congressional Race
The Associated Press also projected incumbent Gov. Dan McKee (D), as the winner in Rhode Island.
RHODE ISLAND — Seth Magazine is the projected winner over Allan Fung for Rhode Island's second U.S. Congressional District, according to the Associated Press.
"THANK YOU to the voters of Rhode Island for putting your faith in me to represent our state in Congress, and to all of the volunteers who worked so hard for our victory tonight," Magaziner tweeted. "You have my commitment that I will lead with Rhode Island values and always put working people first."
The race saw polls swing in several directions, but most pollsters predicted Fung would win. His polling peaked in early October, with a Boston Globe/Suffolk University poll showing Fung with an eight-point lead.
