"Compared to the price of gas a year ago, it now costs consumers about $17 more to fill up their vehicles," Albert said. "And unfortunately, it doesn't look like drivers will be finding relief at the pump any time soon."
The current average price per gallon in Rhode Island is 18 cents higher than this time last month, and a whopping $1.117 more than this time last year. The national average is currently 6 cents higher than our state's, at $3.32.
