RI Corrections Deputy Chief Resigns Amid Allegations He Produced Child Porn
Prosecutors say Seth Crosby, 46, of Cranston, used his phone to tape a teen couple having sex inside a home in Cranston.

CRANSTON, RI — The Deputy Chief of Special Investigations for the Rhode Island Department of Corrections (RIDOC) has reportedly resigned after facing child pornography and video voyeurism charges.
RIDOC Public Information Officer J.R. Ventura confirmed Seth Crosby, 46, of Cranston, submitted his resignation Tuesday, but did not share additional details, WPRI 12 reported. He was charged with two counts of production or attempted production of child pornography and one count of video voyeurism.
Crosby was arrested Aug. 14, 2024. According to prosecutors, Crosby used his phone to tape a teen couple having sex inside a home in Cranston. Prosecutors said the video voyeurism charge stems from a different incident, where Crosby hid a camera in a bathroom before they took a shower.
