RI T.F. Green Airport Makes List Of Top 10 Airports In The World
The list was generated with the help of more than 520,000 Condé Nast Traveller readers, who rated their experiences around the world.
WARWICK, RI — The Ocean State is getting some global recognition thanks to Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport.
T.F. Green was named one of the 10 best airports in the world, according to the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards. The Rhode Island airport came in at No. 10 on the list.
"The rest of the world is realizing what we here in Rhode Island have known for a long time — Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport is a true travel gem," Gov. Dan McKee said. "Our airport is an important gateway to Rhode Island that brings visitors to our state from near and far, supports good paying jobs and sparks economic activity. We invite travelers to fly Rhode Island and experience the ease, accessibility and simplicity for themselves."

According to Condé Nast Traveler, T.F. Green is a "great little airport that’s easy to reach and to navigate, with more than two-thirds of New England’s population living within a 75-minute drive to the airport. Long favored by budget carriers as a less expensive alternative to Boston Logan, the airport has been growing steadily in recent years and is well-positioned to benefit from a resurgence in domestic air travel."
The list was generated with the help of more than 520,000 Condé Nast Traveller readers, who submitted responses rating their travel experiences around the world. T.F Green was one of just three U.S. airports to make the list, the others being in Indianapolis and Savannah, Georgia.
