RI Teen Killed In Rollover Crash In CT
Police say two people from Cranston were also injured in the crash in Trumbull, Connecticut.
TRUMBULL, CT — An 18-year-old Rhode Island man died after a rollover crash involving two cars on Route 25 in Trumbull, Connecticut.
According to Connecticut State Police, the crash happened just after 11 p.m. Friday on the southbound side of Route 25, north of Exit 9. Police said a BMW driven by a 61-year-old Vermont man was traveling south when it was approached from behind by another BMW driven by an 18-year-old man from Cranston.
At one point, police said the 18-year-old moved to the right and sideswiped the rear passenger side of the first car. The maneuver caused the 18-year-old to lose control of the vehicle and enter the median, police said. The vehicle then rolled and struck multiple trees.
