RHODE ISLAND — About 78 boys were named Noah and 57 girls were named Charlotte last year in Rhode Island, making them 2023’s most popular baby names, according to data recently released by the Social Security Administration.

Although not the most popular names, trending names in 2023 included Izael, Chozen, Eiden, Cassian and Kyren for boys and Kaeli, Alitzel, Emryn, Adhara and Azari for girls, according to the report.
