Cranston Schools Will Relocate Edgewood Highland Children
Cranston East and Edgewood Highland Elementary will be closed again on Wednesday, due to water damage.

CRANSTON, RI—Cranston East and Edgewood Highland Elementary will be closed again on Wednesday, due to water damage. But the school department has figured out a plan to relocate the grade school youngsters, so they can attend classes on Thursday, even though their building will not be repaired for some time.
According to the Cranston school district website, here is the plan. On Jan. 11, the Edgewood Highland Elementary pre-school students will go to E.S. Rhodes Elementary, 160 Shaw Ave. The older children will go to Norwood Avenue Building, 205 Norwood Ave.
The school district will continue to provide transportation to eligible students.
