"Infused with Patagonian pepper from the sacred canelo tree, it layers white pepper and woody spice into something quietly complex and deeply rooted," the brewery wrote in a description about the beer. "Its name pays tribute to the canelo tree, a symbol of deep cultural and botanical significance in Patagonia."
There were more than 100 different categories brewers could submit their chosen brew in for the 2024 competition, and in the brown porter category, there were 51 total entries.
