Creative Wrapping at New Neighbors Club Tonight
The East Greenwich Cowesett New Neighbors Club's topic Wednesday night is creative gift wrapping. New members always welcome.
The East Greenwich Cowesett New Neighbors Club welcomes you to its monthly meeting on Wednesday, December 9th at 9:30 AM.
The topic will be “Creative Gift Wrapping”. Participants will learn some easy and beautiful ways in which to wrap presents for any occasion, and will have a chance to create their own gift wrap and tags using stamps as well as natural elements, provided by Sprigs Flowers. Our guest speaker, Debi Ryan, will guide us through this process. Debi has been a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator for many years. She shares, “Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach. For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, it’s about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.” Bring a boxed gift to wrap and take home with you.
The club also strives to reach out to those in need in our community, and is participating in a collection drive to benefit Operation Stand Down, a local charity that supports homeless veterans and their families (http://osdri.org/). If you would like to join us in this endeavor, please bring any of the following to donate: socks; underwear (size large and extra large); hats; gloves; gift cards to Walmart, Stop and Shop, gas stations; small household items such as utensils, can openers, dishes, spatulas; non-perishable food.
