East Greenwich Police Warn Residents About House Break-Ins
Over the past two weeks, police wrote in a Facebook post, burglars have hit several houses in the west end of East Greenwich.

EAST GREENWICH, RI — Police are looking for suspects in connection to three house breaks in the west end of Town. A fourth crime may be connected to a West Warwick man arrested by Coventry police last week after he broke into a home there and slapped a pregnant woman. That matter, which happened on Waterford Drive, is still under investigation, East Greenwich police said. Meanwhile, police say suspects broke into three homes on Juniper, Princess Pine and Shady Lane drives. They used ladders in possibly two house breaks to reach the roof and then climb into the house through second floor windows. The incidents happened between 8 and 10 p.m., and no one was home in any of the houses. The burglar or burglars use flashlights to navigate in the dark and appear to be looking for jewelry. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives.
