EG Schools Cancelled Monday
According to Supt. Mercurio, concern about the storm's anticipated severity is the reason for the call.
East Greenwich Public Schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane Sandy. Supt. Victor Mercurio said a call would go out to parents at 4:30 p.m.
Citing concerns about the projected severity of Hurricane Sandy, Mercurio said school would be closed but there's no word yet about Tuesday. He suggests people continue to check the egsd.net website for updates.
