Fatal Accident Sunday: I-95 In West Greenwich

WEST GREENWICH, RI—A West Warwick man died in a single-car crash on Interstate-95 early Sunday morning, state police said. Brandon D. Robinson, 31, was heading North in West Greenwich around 12:35 a.m. when his car went off the road. The accident happened about one half mile south of Exit 7. According to state police, the car hit a tree and rolled over. The driver was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

State police said speed appears to have contributed to the accident. Robinson was not wearing a seat belt.
