House vote on EGFD bill: The full House will take up the legislation during their regular session, which begins at 4 p.m. Meanwhile, the Senate Finance Committee approved the Senate version of the bill Tuesday.

Affordable Housing Task Force meeting: Comprehensive Plan update and discussion of future speaking dates. Town Hall at 3:30 p.m.

Planning Board: On the agenda is the combined Master and Preliminary Plan application for  a quick-lane automobile service facility at the northeast corner of South County Trail and Frenchtown Road. The design calls for a one-story, five-car service bay, with an alignment bay, and car wash. Also on the agenda is pre-application request for Frenchtown Place, a 10-lot residential subdivision. The meeting takes place in Council Chambers at Town Hall at 7 p.m.

David-Max Grand Opening: The ribbon-cutting for Main Street’s newest home-goods store happens at 5 p.m.

Jazz Concert: The EGHS and Cole jazz bands perform tonight in concert at Cole Middle School. Great music for free! 7 p.m.

Avenger Home Action: The Girls JV Fastpitch Softball plays Middletown at 4 p.m., Boys Volleyball plays NKHS at 6:30 p.m. You can follow all the Avenger action at the EG Booster Club website here.
