Five Things: Family Fun Day & Scout Hall Dinner

The Seasons Yard Sale: The Seasons Fall Yard Sale happens today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 5 Saint Elizabeth Way (across the street from Hill Top Creamery). Stop by to browse or buy. They will also be selling breakfast sandwiches and their delicious lobster and chicken salad rolls!
Garage Sale on Brookside: There will be tons of household items, amazing costume jewelry, dishes, curtains, pillows, fans, costumes, floral arrangements, picture frames, some children’s items too. At 26 Brookside Drive from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Family Fun Day at EG Square: East Greenwich Square (home of Dave’s, Gold’s and Panera) is holding a Family Fun Day today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be fun, food & more, including pumpkin painting, fun photo ops and special discounts from favorite retailers and restaurants. Additionally, Courtesy Cleaners will be collecting new and gently used coats for their Winter Coat drive, and McDonald's will be collecting household items from the Ronald McDonald House Providence wish list. Both Courtesy Cleaners and McDonald's will have collection boxes at their tables.
Adopt-a-Pet Open House: Animals are available for viewing and adoption today with the assistance of a dedicated East Greenwich Animal Protection League member. The open house takes place at Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital from 10:30 to 1 p.m. Individual appointments are also available.
Boy Scout house annual fundraising dinner: The Chicken Barbecue Dinner is a fundraiser for the EG Boy's Home Association, which supports Scout Hall on Spring Street (home of Troop 2, EG). The menu includes different chicken selections, baked and spicy potatoes, salad, bread, assorted homemade desserts, coffee, juice, etc. Seconds are always on us. At the Veteran Fireman’s Hall, 80 Queen St., from 5:30 to 7 p.m. $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12.
