Ghost tours on Main Street: Take a guided candlelight stroll on Main Street Thursday evening while local myths and legends are explored. Tour the haunted Greenwich Hotel and stop by various restaurants and shops for a trick or treat! Participating stores: Skyleen Mustang, Gifts of Spirit, Staci’s Place, Luniac Glamour, The Chocolate Delicacy, The Grille on Main, Cafe Fresco, and La Masseria. Tours start at ‎Skyleen Mustang (176 Main Street, E.G. 401-884-4927). From 5 and 8 p.m. $12/person.
Library Friends Wine & Cheese: Celebrate National Friends of Libraries Week as the East Greenwich Free Library celebrates its Friends with a wine and dessert reception on Thursday, at 6:30 to 8 p.m. For more information about the Friends of EG Library, visit us on Facebook, call 885-1699, or email the Friends at friendseglibrary@gmail.com.
Coaching for parents with kids w/autism: This five-week program offers parents of children with autism is a unique opportunity to work with experienced parents. Participants will learn about strategies and resources to help their children. They will collaborate on specific problems while connecting with other parents to form a supportive network. At the Autism Project, 1516 Atwood Ave. in Johnston, from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Luniac Glamour Trunk Sale Thursdays: It’s ladies night out at Luniac Glamour on Main Street for Trunk Sale Thursdays this fall. They will be featuring local designers, new jewelry, clothes, and gifts. Each week they will feature different designers to showcase their wares. Every Thursday night through Nov. 15. From 7 to 9 p.m.
Divorce support group: Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. People who understand what you are going through and want to help, lead the sessions. There will be a 30- to 40-minute video featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects, followed by a discussion and sharing time. Sessions begin tonight, from 7 to 9 p.m., and will meet at Christ Church Ministry Center (Steeple View Condominiums, 61 Cedar Ave. #1, East Greenwich) for 13 weeks. Pumpkin sale for a good cause: That pumpkin patch in front of the EG United Methodist Church on South County Trail isn’t just a joyful scene (those it is that in spades!). Proceeds will benefit Janice Wray and her family. Wray, an East Greenwich resident and URI nursing student, suffered serious injury in a car accident in April which left her paralyzed and in a wheelchair. The stand is 11 to 5 p.m.
