Marjorie Ball Opening at EG Free Library: Marjorie Ball, one of East Greenwich’s most talented resident painters, has a show at the EG Free Library this month and the opening is Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. “Local Landscapes” offers familiar scenes cast through a special lens. Come and meet Margie and see some of her great works.
R.I. Children’s Chorus auditions: The Rhode Island Children’s Chorus, a music education and performance ensemble for children, will hold auditions for new members for the fall season today from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s Church, 99 Peirce St. Boys and girls ages 7 to 16 years old are welcome. No prior singing experience or appointment is necessary.
Pint Night for Save the Bay: Denali in Wakefield is holding a Pint Night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with all benefits going to Save the Bay. Food for the evening will be provided by Wildwood Caterers. Guests will be entertained by live music from the soulful sounds of Fieldhouse/BMG/Chrysalis recording artist Matt Hartke. With your $15 donation to Save the Bay guests will also get a pint glass to take home.

Teen Center: The Teen Center has provided a great place to hang out on Friday evenings for decades now. They meet at the gym at Eldredge School but you don’t have to play basketball to enjoy the camaraderie. From 6 to 8 p.m.
