Five Things: The Living Room, V2
Your guide for life in East Greenwich today, April 26.

The Living Room, V2: a collection of four locals and one Bostonian who will tell their real stories of triumph and transformation at The Living Room. The storytellers are Andrew Paul Maksymowicz, Janice Michaela Wray, Dana Wronski, Bethany Warburton, and Betty Who. At the EG United Methodist Church at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:30. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students with ID.
Avenger Home Action: Boys Varsity Baseball versus Pilgram at 4 p.m. You can follow all the Avenger action at the EG Booster Club website here.

EG Little League Opening Day: Events start at Academy Field, where teams muster for the annual Opening Day Parade down Church Street along Main Street to Fifth Street to Cragan Field. The parade begins at 10 a.m. but teams gather starting at 9. It's small-town fun at its best. Play ball!
On Monday ...
Fundraiser for Celeste & Sydney: The mother and daughter seriously injured in the Boston Marathon bombings last week, Celeste and Sydney Corcoran, have local ties. Their husband/father is Kevin Corcoran, born and raised in Quidnessett. There is a fundraiser for them Monday at Rok Bar and Grill, starting at 5:30 p.m. You can get tickets ahead of time ($20 each) at Felicia’s Coffee. Â
The Switch Energy Project: East Greenwich High School is hosting a viewing of The Switch Energy Project on Monday, April 29, at 7 p.m.! Switch is a groundbreaking film focusing on the problem we have at hand with the use of non-renewable energy resources. The producers of Switch traveled the world to discover ways we can make the switch to renewable resources. Everyone is welcome to attend and learn how we can all help to make a difference! All EGHS science students can also receive extra credit with their science teachers if they attend the showing and provide their teachers with the ticket the following day in class. Please come support the EGHS Science Department and the future of our planet!
