‘Live at the Odeum’ ticket blitz: Stop by the Odeum box office today between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to buy tickets for Wednesday night’s “Live at the Odeum” – John DePetro in one-on-one conversation on stage with "Leaders" former Gov. Don Carcieri, Alex and Ani CEO Giovanni Feroce, and OLM pastor Fr. Bernie Healey. John DePetro will be on hand today from 12:30 to 1:30 to answer questions and talk about the event.
Carnival: That ferris wheel rising up on your right as you drive south on Post Road into North Kingstown? It's not a mirage – rather, it's a carnival and it's open tonight fro 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 11 p.m.

Zumba Fundraiser: Join local Zumba instructors led by Sue Dorne for a night of fun-filled energy and excitement as we dance to benefit the East Greenwich Rotary Club. There will also be refreshments and door prizes. Beginners to advanced Zumba enthusiasts are welcome. If you don't know how to Zumba don't worry – they'll teach you! This event is appropriate for teens and adults. So put on your tennis shoes and come have a blast! Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Starts at 6 p.m. at Cole Middle School.
Library Book Sale volunteers needed: The Friends of the EG Library are holding their annual book sale on Saturday, May 11, and they could use some help sorting, stacking, selling. Lobster Roll time: Every spring, Westminster Unitarian Church goes into lobster mode, making hundreds of lobster rolls. The 22nd Annual Lobster Roll Day is next Friday, May 17, but NOW is the time to place your order. For $9.50, you get succulent lobster mixed with a little mayo, presented on a buttered roll, with a side of potato chips. As always, there are no fillers. Order 6+ rolls and get free delivery in East and West Greenwich, Warwick, Cranston, North and South Kingstown, Coventry, West Warwick, Exeter and Narragansett. There is a $5 delivery charge outside the free delivery area. Orders may also be picked up by 12:30 p.m. at Westminster. Orders of fewer than 6 rolls are pick-up only. Arts on Main: Arts on Main sidewalk art contest takes place Saturday from 12 to 3 p.m. with a rain date of Saturday, May 11. The event will kick off at the East Greenwich Town Hall and drawing will take place on Courthouse Lane and Pierce Street. Prizes for the best drawings will be awarded for each category and all pre-registered participants will receive an exclusive Arts on Main t-shirt. If you are not an artist, come enjoy the day and vote for your favorite drawing in the People’s Choice Award!
'Hey Nineteen' SOLD OUT: The locally based Steely Dan tribute band Hey Nineteen's concert at the Greenwich Odeum is sold out. Band members said their next show is in June at the Newport Casino, and there will be more concerts. Congrats guys!

May Fair: If you have young children, you don’t want to miss this wonderful annual spring event. There are fun games, pony rides, a cake walk, a silent auction, play spaces, and a bunny-petting area. The theme this year is “Once Upon A Time … “ Admission is free; tickets are 50 cents a piece. The proceeds benefit the Barbara Tufts Cooperative Preschool. At Academy Field (and Swift Community Center), rain or shine, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Best Buddies Walk: Best Buddies pairs intellectually disabled middle and high schoolers with their typically developing peers. Once a year, the Rhode Island chapter holds a walk to raise money for programs and awareness of its mission. At Garden City in Cranston. For more information, click here.
