Local Neighbors Club Welcomes Personal Stylist Wednesday

This month, the group, which invites new and longtime residents, is welcoming guest speaker Jill Marinelli, a personal stylist.

From the East Greenwich Cowesett New Neighbors Cub:

The East Greenwich Cowesett New Neighbors Club welcomes you to its monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 3rd at 9:30 AM. The topic will be “Spring Fashion Trends”. Our guest speaker will be Jill Marinelli, a personal stylist and public speaker as well as a style correspondent for CBS Providence’s The Rhode Show. With a passion that lives at the intersection of personal development and external image, Jill helps women translate their authentic selves into a confidence-rocking look that clients call “life-changing, exhilarating, and uplifting.” Jill believes that women develop their true style and confidence when they learn to convey who they are through what they wear. She teaches her clients and audiences how to express themselves in authentic, meaningful ways and asks, “Does your image reflect who you are and where you want to go?” Jill’s work has also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, Psychology Today, Lucky, and “FOX Boston Morning News.” She styles wardrobe for print and television, including looks for NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” finalist Elizabeth Ruiz, Alex and Ani print ads, and makeover features for The Rhode Show, Providence Journal and Rhode Island Monthly. She is currently writing her first book, The Spirit of Style.

The meeting will take place at the United Methodist Church at 1558 South County Trail in East Greenwich. The Club offers friendship and fun to both new and long-time residents of the area. EGCNN has a wide variety of activity groups including Theater, Chick Flicks, Walking, Running, Tennis, Book Clubs, Lunch Bunch, Taste of Rhode Island (Dinner Club), and more. There is a $35 annual membership fee, but the fee is reduced to $17.50 for those who join mid-year. Newcomers may attend two monthly meetings before deciding to join. More information about the club can be found online at http://egcnn.org/
