Obituary: Doris G. Lawrence, 86

Doris G. Lawrence, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 29. She was the wife of the late Joseph Lawrence. Born in Warwick she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Albertine (Langlois) Couchon.

She is survived by three children, Joseph S. Lawrence, Jane M. Corrigan, and Doris L. Higgins; a sister, Jeannette O'Leary, and twelve grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Rita Greene, Yvette Huling and Norman Couchon.

Funeral Friday at 9 a.m. from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich. Burial will be in the R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

Calling hours: Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
