Obituary: William A. Paul, 81

He was an auto body repairman at Arnold's Auto Body


William A. Paul, 81, a resident of East Greenwich for 47 years, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Kent Hospital. 

He was the husband of Dorothy J. (Gough) Paul and the late Lucile (McKenna)  Paul.  Born in Sayre, Penn., a son of the late William A. and Margaret E. (Krantz) Paul. 

Mr. Paul was an auto body repairman at Arnold’s Auto Body for many years before retiring in 1997.  He was a Korean Navy Veteran, an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed playing drums and listening to music.

Besides his wife Dorothy of 53 years, he leaves three daughters, Jamie Langlais and her husband Robert; Carol Rondeau and Mary Lambert and her husband Ed; a son, William Paul, Jr., and his wife Kathleen; a sister, Shirley Gough and her husband Andrew; six grandchildren, Jennifer DeGregorio, Kate Renaud, Daniel and Adam Langlais, Samantha and Kaylee Paul; and two great grandchildren, Kyla Renaud and Chase DeGregorio; his son-in-law, Frank Venezia and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Sharon Venezia.

His funeral will be held Monday, March 11, 2013 at 8:30 am from the Henault-Gallogly Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School St., North Kingstown. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
