He body-checked one of the officers, according to the report, and got away. The other officer on the scene chased Thibodeau across all four lanes of Post Road to the parking lot behind Mozzarella’s. There a third officer took up the chase and managed to tackle Thibodeau, yet he continued to resist. Police used pepper spray in Thibodeau’s face and they were finally able to get him into handcuffs. While in a cell at the police station, Thibodeau complained of difficulty breathing. He was taken by rescue to the hospital to be checked out and arraigned in District Court Friday morning. He faces a felony charge on the No Contact violation. Bail was set at $5,000 with surety on the new charges.
