12:54 a.m. – Police arrested Megan Gallagher, 35, of West Shore Road in Exeter, for driving while intoxicated and refusing a breath test, after she was pulled over for speeding on South County Trail. According to the report, police clocked Gallagher driving 82 mph in a 40 mph zone and running a red light at Frenchtown Road, nearly hitting another car. Police asked her to submit to a field sobriety test because they could smell alcohol on her breath and her eyes were bloodshot. After Gallagher failed the field sobriety test, police arrested her and had her car towed. She was processed at the station, cited for speeding and running a red light, and issued a court summons.
3:15 a.m. – A resident of Marlborough Street (the 200 block, same block as a similar incident, above) reported her car was broken into sometime between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 3 a.m. Tuesday. She said the glove compartment had been rifled through and she was missing a cell phone charger and airport parking pass. She said she may have left the driver-side door unlocked.
10:39 a.m. – Police arrested David Plante, 45, of Cliff Street, on a bench warrant after police saw him in a car stopped on Division Street. That there was a warrant out for Plante was known to police, according to the report. He was taken into custody and brought to Kent County Courthouse for arraignment.
4:55 p.m. – Police arrested Angela Rodrigues, 45, of High Hawk Road, for driving with a suspended license after she was involved in a rollover accident on Middle Road. She told police at the scene she had been driving west on Middle Road when a vehicle heading east veered into her lane, prompting Rodrigues to drive off the road. The car hit a mailbox, struck a stone wall, then tipped on its side before righting itself, according to a witness. She was taken by EG Rescue to South County Hospital at her request. Routine checks turned up the suspended license. Police dropped off a court summons for that offense as well as a municipal citation for not displaying an inspection sticker.

Police recommended the woman get a restraining order on the man and they left a phone message with him, warning of arrest if he sends any more threatening messages.
12:45 p.m. – A Frenchtown Road resident told police someone had taken a prescription of a controlled substance out of her car while the car was parked at Cumberland Farms on Post Road. Nothing else appeared to be missing.
