Ringling Bros. Clowns Are Serious About Reading
They went to Meadowbrook Farms on Friday to promote reading in honor of Dr. Suess's birthday, March 2.
The laughter could be heard from outside. The students of Meadowbrook Farms were positively beside themselves with glee watching the two clowns – Joel and Rob Ringling – from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus bumble and fumble their way through some pretty neat tricks, including one on the video clip here.
They were there to promote reading on Dr. Suess's birthday, in particular they highlighted the Dr. Suess book If I Ran the Circus. They were fun and funny, and left the children with these words: "Remember, reading is very important. The more you read, the more you know."
