East Providence School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The first day of school in East Providence is August 28 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The East Providence School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/12: No School (Statewide Primary Election Day)

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)

• 11/6: No School (Election Day)
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/22: No School (Winter Recess)

April

• 4/15 - 4/19: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/7: Graduation
• 6/12: Last Day of School
