EP Man Indicted for Child Molestation

The Providence County Grand Jury indicted the 48-year-old on one count of first-degree and three counts of second-degree child molestation.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI—A 48-year-old East Providence man has been indicted on multiple child molestation charges.

The Providence County Grand Jury last week indicted David Fewster, of 48 Eastern Ave., on one count of first-degree and three counts of second-degree child molestation stemming from alleged crimes committed against a child under 14 between Aug. 1 of 2009 and July 1 of 2014.

Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin said Fewster is due to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on Dec. 23.

Fewster was cited by the state Department of Environmental Management over the summer for exceeding the daily limit of striped bass.
