EPHS Announces Top Students
East Providence High School announces its highest achieving students of the graduating class of 2013.

Three high-achieving East Providence students will lead their fellow graduates in commencement on Friday, June 14, as the Class of 2013 takes its first steps toward the future.
This year's top three students academically are Isabel Newton, Nicole Strik and Tony Hu, according to East Bay RI. All three students are members of the National Honor Society and lifelong students in the East Providence schools.
The class valedictorian is Newton, who will lead her fellow graduates in commencement ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. at Pierce Memorial Field.

Newton plans to attend Brown University in Providence, where she plans to study engineering.
Strik, the class salutatorian, will attend Boston College in the fall and plans to study psychology.

Hu will join Strik at Boston College in September, where he plans to study biology on the pre-med track.
