Fireworks, Music Continue Holiday

The annual East Providence Fourth of July fireworks display is tonight, July 5, at Pierce Field.

You are invited by the East Providence Recreation Department to continue to celebrate the Fourth of July tonight, July 5, at Pierce Field.

A fireworks display and classic rock music concert by “Crushed Velvet” takes place at the Mercer Street facility. Gates open at 6 pm. 

The event is free because of its sponsors, United Water, MEGA, J.H. Lynch & Sons, DiPrete Engineering and the band, which is donating its performance.

Food and concessions will be available, said Recreation Coordinator Diane Sullivan. Leave your pets and coolers at home.
