'Hot' Batteries Recovered: EP Police

A recycling company saw the news at noon and called police about the batteries.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence detectives have recovered all 33 batteries stolen from school buses overnight Tuesday, Lt. Raymond Blinn said. They were found at Berger Recycling in Pawtucket. The recycling company owner called police after he saw the news broadcast at noon. The batteries went back to the bus company.

"We did develop suspect info which we will be following up," he said.
