Luiza Medeiros, 97, Leaves Hundreds of Survivors
Her funeral will be held today at Rebello Funeral Home in East Providence; she leaves 10 children, 43 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Luiza Medeiros, formerly of Miles Avenue, East Providence, died Thursday, May 16, 2013. She was 97.
She was the wife of the late Manuel P. Medeiros. Born Aug. 26, 1915, in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Rocha Amaral and Maria Rosa Cabral.

Medeiros leaves numerous survivors, including 10 children, 43 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Her funeral will begin today at 7:45 am from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence.
