Michael A. Plante, of Central Avenue, East Providence, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 29, 2013, at home. He was 47.
Born in Providence, and raised in the Smith Hill neighborhood, he was a son of the late Arthur F. and Elaine (Melinoski) Plante. He was a dye mixer for Organic Dyestuffs Corporation, of East Providence, for the past 17 years.

His visitation and funeral service will be today from 9 am to 10:30 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence.
