• East Providence police seek community's help after church vandalized (turnto10.com) — East Providence police are asking residents to check their cameras and report anything suspicious after a break-in and vandalism at Saint Martha’s Church on Pawtucket Avenue sometime Saturday night into Sunday morning. Windows were smashed and several church areas were damaged, but parish leaders say the community is rallying and worship will continue as investigators work to identify whoever is responsible.

The same week’s reports detail multiple DUI arrests, a costly phone scam involving fake bail money, and several welfare checks on vulnerable residents.
