Pet of the Week: 'Mittens' Abandoned

The East Providence Animal Control Center has a variety of pets available for adoption.

“Mittens” is a large, grey, domestic long hair available for adoption at the East Providence AnimalControl Center.

“Mittens” was found abandoned in a home in Central Falls living in some unfavorable conditions. Since Central Falls Animal Control does not have a holding facility, the East Providence shelter took Mittens in.

Mittens was neutered prior to its arrival, and is vaccinated against rabies thanks to Central Falls Animal Control Officer Charlene Gaffney.

“Mittens” has a great disposition and loves everyone.  You may visit Mittens at EPACC located at 62 Commercial Way.

East Providence Animal Control Center is open everyday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Other animals are available for adoption are listed on Facebook or Petfinder.com.

If you have any questions about adoption or need to speak with an Animal Control Officer, contact the staff at (401) 435-7675.
