Suspect Charged With Stealing EP School Bus Batteries
One other suspect is still at large, police said.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The East Providence Police have arrested one suspect and say a second is still at large in connection with the theft of school bus batteries overnight Tuesday. Edmund Pittsley, 38, of Rehoboth, Mass., turned himself in Thursday morning at around 10:15. He had been contacted by police.
"The investigation is ongoing, and information gathered by detectives has led to the identification of at least one other suspect," police said. "That suspect’s information is not being released at this time."
The bus batteries were stolen from Ocean State Bus Lines on Commercial Way in East Providence.

Pittsley was arraigned this afternoon in 6th District Court on the felony charges of Larceny over $1500 and Conspiracy.
