William C. Sullivan, 88, Retired Electrician

William C. Sullivan, of First Street, East Providence, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital.  He was 88

He was the husband of the late Lois V. (Hickey) Sullivan. He was born in Providence, a son of the late William E. and Emily (Arsenault) Sullivan.  

Sullivan was an electrician and member of I.B.E.W. Local 99 for 40 years before retiring in 1990. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.  He enjoyed working in his yard, being by the ocean in Westport and attending reunions with his shipmates.

He leaves four sons, Stephen W. Sullivan of East Providence, Timothy D. Sullivan of Warwick,  Brian M. Sullivan of Barrington and Daniel K. Sullivan of Westport, one sister, Margaret “Peggy” McKenna of East Providence, eight grandchildren and one great grandson.

His funeral will be held on Friday, July 12, at 8 am from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in Sacred Heart Church, Taunton Avenue. Burial with Military Honors will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
