Foster Sex Offender Pleads Guilty To Receiving Child Pornography: Feds
The sex offender previously tried to meet a 13-year-old for sex, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A sex offender previously convicted and incarcerated for sharing sexually explicit photographs online with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl with whom he also attempted to meet near her middle school to engage in sex pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
John Q. Adams, 36, pleaded guilty Monday to downloading and storing an explicit video file depicting child sexual abuse material involving two adult males and a prepubescent female in January 2021, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
"Further investigation determined that Adams had downloaded and stored approximately 112 images and 49 videos of child sexual abuse material," the office said.

The sentencing date for Adams, a Foster resident, was scheduled for Oct. 21.
