Armed Suspect Arrested After Shelter In Place At Lincoln CCRI Campus: Report

LINCOLN, RI — A suspect accused of walking onto the Community College of Rhode Island's Lincoln campus with a gun is reportedly in custody.

The campus was ordered to shelter in place as a precaution before 1p.m., Campus police told WPRI 12 someone called 911, resulting in officers locking the school down, but it was determined there was no threat. No injuries were reported.

No information was immediately available about the suspect.
