Intoxicated Wrong-Way Driver Causes Crash In Lincoln: RI State Police
The crash on Route 295 sent both drivers to the hospital, Rhode Island State Police said.

PAWTUCKET, RI — A Pawtucket man was arrested Tuesday after Lincoln police said he crashed into another car while intoxicated and driving on the wrong side of the road.
Raul Hernandez was charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence of liquor or drugs, and operating on a suspended license.
Police said the crash happened around 4:45 a.m. on Route 295 northbound in Lincoln. According to state police, Hernandez was driving south in the northbound lane and collided with another vehicle near the weigh station. Both drivers were taken to the hospital with reported complaints of pain.

State police said Hernandez is being treated at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence and will be arraigned in Third District Court upon his release.
