Lincoln Police Ask For Help Finding Man Accused Of Setting Car On Fire
Police say Jeffrey Bowden, 38, of Plainfield, Connecticut, set a car on fire in Rhode Island after a dispute with its owner.

LINCOLN, RI — Lincoln police have asked for the public's help finding a Connecticut man they said intentionally set a car on fire.
Police said they have identified Jeffrey Bowden, 38, of Plainfield, Connecticut, as the suspect.
Just before midnight, police and firefighters were called to Smith Street for a report of a car fire. Authorities determined the car was intentionally set ablaze.

Police said they later learned Bowden knew the vehicle owner, and that the two of them were involved in a personal dispute. The incident was targeted, and there is no danger to the public, according to police.
A warrant has been issued for Bowden's arrest on a fourth-degree arson charge. Anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln police at 401-333-8485.
